Reduced construction time*

A Floortech flooring system can be installed in as little as four days, following ground-floor brickwork, a significant reduction from the typical 21 days you wait for concrete to cure. You get to finish your build, and move on to the next job, cutting three weeks off your delivery.

TRADE-FRIENDLY

Made for flexibility on site between trades, the revolutionary Floortech system allows you to easily install plenum boxes for installing extraction fans. All your electrician needs to do is fit the desired fan in place, while the ducting to external air is taken care of by the plumber using readily available PVC piping. The suspended flooring truss structure allows for installation of all plumbing, electrics, ducting, and piping in the channels within the truss structure itself, with enough space to be moved around as needed.

LESS NOISE THAN TIMBER FRAMING

The topping of Floortech concrete over the fully engineered strong subframe is very effective in reducing any audible noise transfer. The estimated Sound Transfer Coefficient (STC) is 50-55, which exceeds the requirement of the Building Code of Australia.

Fully compliant

Your Floortech flooring system is designed by structural engineers and is fully compliant with the practices and requirements of the Building Code of Australia AS4600, AS3600, AS4100, AS1170 and all Australian Standards.

NO PROP SUPPORTS

Unlike conventional concrete slab, Floortech has minimal—or even NO—prop supports. This means that once your steel trusses are installed, work can continue under the floor immediately.

Cost-effective

Floortech flooring is a more flexible, more cost-effective option for your build. It costs no more than conventional slab, and at the same time concentrates five different roles in one—formwork, steel fixers, pre-laying services, concreters, and curing—reducing the number of trades on site.
